The preparatory meeting for the organization of the next consultation in West Africa Network was held in Praia (Cabo Verde), January 29, 2016 and has noted the participation of WAWA, WACSOF, POSCAO, OSCAF and REPAOC with support from WAI and WASCI.
The objectives are to :
- Convene key CSO networks to discuss and exchange views on the organisation of an all-representative regional consultation in the future;
- Develop strategies to design and facilitate experience sharing between CSOs;
- Build convergences and strategic partnerships between CSOs working in similar areas; and
- Reach consensus on a joint roadmap of action
A joint statement has been elaborated.
